1. General Provisions

This private internet search service is available exclusively in a paid (Premium) model.

The owner and operator of the Service is Igor Oprządek, Bągart 14A, Poland, e-mail: mevasearch[at]weborbiton.com.

Note on Payments: Sales, billing, and tax collection are processed by Polar Signals Inc. (Polar.sh) acting as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By completing a purchase, the User enters into a direct billing relationship with Polar.sh.

Using the full functionality of the Service requires successful account creation, acceptance of these Terms, and an active paid subscription.

The User confirms that they have full legal capacity. Persons under the age of 18 may use the Service only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must be the registered account holder.

2. Services and Premium Model

The service provides a privacy-first search experience: no tracking, no advertising profiling, and no search history linked to the account. User data is never sold to third parties.

The service is provided for a fee. Subscription plans and pricing are presented in the order panel.

Full access is activated immediately after payment authorization confirmation from the payment operator.

External Search and AI Providers

To deliver search results and AI-generated summaries, MevaSearch forwards search queries to the following third-party providers: Brave Search API, Mojeek API, WebAtlas Index API, and Google Gemini AI. All queries are transmitted in anonymous form — without any user identifier, account reference, or personal data. Providers receive only the query text via MevaSearch's servers. 3. Registration, Security, and Account

Registration requires providing a valid e-mail address, which serves as the User identifier.

Account Character and Sharing:

The Account is personal; however, it may be used by persons residing with the User within a single household, including minor children under parental supervision. It is prohibited to:

  • share login credentials outside the household,
  • resell the subscription or any part of it,

Login Data Protection:

The User bears full responsibility for sharing their password with unauthorized persons.

Technical Limits:

The Service Provider reserves the right to impose limits on simultaneously logged-in devices.

4. Kids Mode (Parental Control)

Kids Mode is an optional parental control feature. It must be enabled and managed by the account holder (parent or legal guardian).

When Kids Mode is enabled:

  • SafeSearch is locked to Strict level and cannot be changed without the account password.
  • Access to billing, payment settings, and subscription management is fully blocked.
  • Kids Mode can only be disabled by the account holder using their password.

Parental Responsibility:

The decision to enable Kids Mode and the supervision of the Service's use by minors rests entirely with the parent or legal guardian. By enabling Kids Mode, the account holder acknowledges and accepts the following:

  • MevaSearch does not guarantee complete filtering of all potentially inappropriate content in search results.
  • Content filtering is performed on a best-effort basis using available technical mechanisms (SafeSearch filters applied to external search API queries).
  • MevaSearch is not liable for any content accessed via search results while Kids Mode is active.
  • The account holder remains fully responsible for granting access to the Service to minors and for monitoring their use.

MevaSearch does not collect additional personal data from or about children. No separate child profile is created. For details, see the Privacy Policy, Section 9.

5. Payments and Anti-Fraud

Payments are handled by Polar.sh. The Service Provider does not store full credit card data.

Payment Circumvention: Attempts to bypass the payment system will result in immediate termination of access.

Unjustified Chargebacks: Fraudulent chargeback attempts may result in permanent account termination.

Risk Verification: Transactions marked as high risk may be rejected.

6. Withdrawal and Refunds

Digital Content: According to EU consumer law (including Article 38(13) of the Polish Act on Consumer Rights), the right of withdrawal does not apply once digital service delivery begins with the user's consent.

Express Consent: By proceeding with the purchase, the User agrees to immediate activation of the service and acknowledges the loss of the 14-day withdrawal right.

7. Technical Security and Fair Use

Automation Ban: Bots, scrapers, spiders, and automated querying systems are strictly prohibited.

Infrastructure Protection: Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and attacks against the infrastructure are forbidden.

Immediate Sanctions: Detection of abuse or attacks may result in immediate termination without refund.

8. Liability

The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted availability in the event of failures or maintenance.

The Service is not responsible for third-party websites displayed in search results.

The Service is not responsible for the content returned by external search index providers (Brave Search API, Mojeek API, WebAtlas Index API) or AI-generated summaries produced by Google Gemini AI. These are third-party services outside MevaSearch's direct control.

9. Changes to Terms

The Terms may be modified for legal or security reasons.

Users will be informed via e-mail.

10. Final Provisions

All disputes are governed by Polish law.

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
