MevaSearch is a private search engine made in Poland. You pay a small subscription instead of paying with your data, so there are no ads and no tracking of your searches.

About MevaSearch
Who makes MevaSearch?
MevaSearch was created by Igor Oprządek and is part of the WebOrbiton Team. The first line of code was written on October 25, 2024, and the search engine officially launched in May 2025.
Where do the results come from?
MevaSearch combines its own independent index, WebAtlas, with Brave Search and Mojeek. Our own ranking engine, SeagullXLogic, then puts the best answers at the top.
Does MevaSearch use Google?
No. MevaSearch does not use the Google search API or any Google AI.
In which languages is MevaSearch available?
In 16 languages, including English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Ukrainian.
Privacy and safety
Does MevaSearch track me?
No. We do not build a profile of you, we do not show ads and we never sell user data. Everyone gets the same results for the same query.
Where is my data stored?
MevaSearch is built in Poland, and our servers and your data are kept in Lithuania and France, under European privacy law.
Can I keep my searches out of my browser history?
Yes. Turn on "Hide searches from browser history" and your history will only show "MevaSearch", without what you searched for.
Can I search without logging in?
Yes, with an Incognito link from your account. It opens only search, AI and app settings in a private window, never your account, profiles or payments.
How does MevaSearch protect me from scams?
NetKrypton, our own protection system, checks results as they load and warns you about phishing and dangerous sites before you click. You can also hide them completely.
What analytics does MevaSearch use?
PriviMetrics, our own analytics: no cookies, no persistent identifiers and no country detection from your IP address.

How much does MevaSearch cost?
Lite costs $4.99, Plus $14.99, Pro $24.99 and For Business $89.99 a month. Prices include VAT.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Lite plan comes with a free 3-day trial.
What is the difference between the plans?
Lite: 500 searches and 200 AI queries a month. Plus: 1,500 searches, 1,000 AI queries and 2 additional profiles. Pro: unlimited searches, 3,000 AI queries, 4 additional profiles and all premium tools. For Business: a shared pool of 9,000 searches and 9,000 AI queries and 10 team profiles.
How do I pay?
Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which accepts cards and other popular payment methods.
AI
Which AI does MevaSearch use?
Every AI feature runs on Claude by Anthropic, used through Anthropic’s paid API.
Can I send a screenshot or photo to the AI?
Yes, up to 2 images in MevaSearch AI chat. Your browser shrinks them and removes metadata, including location, and MevaSearch does not store them.
Can I turn AI off?
Yes. You can switch off AI summaries and hide every AI button with one setting.
Account and apps
Can my family or team use one plan?
Yes. Plus includes 2 additional profiles, Pro 4 and For Business 10 team profiles. Each person gets their own login, and Kids Mode keeps children safe.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, MevaSearch is available as an Android app with the same search and settings.
Can I set MevaSearch as my default search engine?
Yes. Most browsers let you add MevaSearch from the address bar, and you can also use our browser extension.
