Why we built MevaSearch

MevaSearch is a private search engine for anyone who wants clean, honest results without being tracked. You pay a small subscription, and in return we leave your data alone and show you the web without ads or big tech filters.

Where results come from

We combine our own WebAtlas index with the Brave Search API. That keeps us independent and gives you relevant results.

Protection from scam sites

NetKrypton is built right into the search engine. It checks links as results load and flags dangerous or fake sites before you click.

May 18, 2025 MevaSearch is born
Igor Oprządek launches the first version of MevaSearch: a simple, fast search engine that puts privacy first.
October 10, 2025 A new home and built-in safety
MevaSearch moves to MevaSearch.com and gets NetKrypton, our own protection against phishing and scam sites.
March 30, 2026 Joining WebOrbiton
MevaSearch becomes part of the WebOrbiton Team, which helps us move faster toward full independence from big tech.
April 15, 2026 Our hybrid index goes live
We stop relying on old search APIs. Results now come mainly from Brave Search, topped up by our own WebAtlas index.
