MevaSearch vs Aidealio: two Polish search engines with their own index

Aidealio is a new Polish search engine that builds its own index and talks about privacy and ad free results from day one. MevaSearch was also made in Poland and also shows no ads. We checked how they differ: where they get their results, how they use AI, what they store and how much they cost.

MevaSearch vs Aidealio: two Polish search engines with their own index

Who is behind each search engine

According to its terms, Aidealio is provided by the company OMERNET from Piastów, Poland, and the search engine was created by Szymon Bodych. The service is in a testing phase, so its features, the size of its index and its look may still change. Searching is free and does not require an account.

MevaSearch is a Polish search engine developed by WebOrbiton and created by its owner, Igor Oprządek. It is a paid service funded by user subscriptions. There are no ads, we do not build user profiles and we do not keep a search history linked to your account.

Where the results come from

Aidealio relies only on its own index. In October 2026 it covered 10,356,408 pages from 855,179 domains, mostly Polish, and its makers plan to add more languages and countries. Pages are fetched by the aidealioBot crawler, which follows robots.txt and crawl-delay, visits one host at a time with at least 2 seconds between requests and signs every request cryptographically, so site owners can verify it is really the bot. According to the terms, the order of results depends among other things on the query words in the text, title and address, semantic similarity to the question, how well the type of page fits the purpose of the query, links from other sites and quality signals.

MevaSearch also has its own Polish index. WebAtlas is built by three crawlers, WebAtlasBot, WebAtlasDiscoverBot and WebAtlasRssSitemapBot, and every domain in it goes through a security check by NetKrypton. On top of that, MevaSearch combines results from the Brave Search API and Wikipedia, and when you want to see more, it adds the independent Mojeek index. Our SeagullXLogic looks after the best quality of results. For technical, scientific or book related queries, specialist sources appear as well, including Stack Overflow, MDN, OpenAlex, Europe PMC, Zenodo, Open Library, Codeberg and the CIRCL vulnerability database for CVE numbers.

So the difference is clear: Aidealio bets on a single index of its own, focused on the Polish web, while MevaSearch combines its own index with several sources from around the world.

What the results look like

For the query YouTube, checked on October 22, 2026, Aidealio showed 100 results in 0.06 seconds. First came youtube.com with links to hashtag pages, followed by Wikipedia, Spider’s Web, 4K Download and Antyweb. On the side, a Choose source panel lets you narrow the results to one domain with a single click. You can also set the language of results, for example Polish first, save results as bookmarks and enter your town to get local results. Besides the results tab and the AI overview, there is also a News section.

For the same query, MevaSearch shows youtube.com with a field to search within the site and sitelinks to watch history, Shorts, YouTube Music and Premium, with a knowledge panel built from Wikipedia data next to it. Besides the list of pages, there are video carousels, short AI summaries and separate tabs for images, videos, news, links, music and podcasts.

In MevaSearch a short AI summary appears above the results, the first result has a Search YouTube field and sitelinks with descriptions, and the info panel on the right shows when the service was founded and where it is based.

Artificial intelligence

Aidealio has an optional AI Overview, which is off by default. It appears when you open the AI Overview tab or turn it on in the settings. According to the privacy policy, the query together with the titles, addresses and snippets of the pages found is then sent to a DeepSeek model running on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, and the finished summary is stored with the query for 7 days, without the IP address. The overview names the domains each sentence comes from.

At MevaSearch, every AI feature runs on Claude by Anthropic. That covers short summaries above the results, MevaSearch AI chat, which remembers the conversation and cites a source for each piece of information, related searches and photo search. Requests reach Anthropic from our servers without any account details, and under Anthropic’s commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models. AI summaries can be turned off in the settings, and AI answers are included in every plan, from 200 a month on Lite to 3,000 on Pro.

AI chat in MevaSearch

Besides the summary above the results, MevaSearch has a separate chat. You can ask follow-up questions, and every piece of information has a source number that leads to the page it comes from.

Privacy and ads

Aidealio says it does not store the queries you type or visitors’ IP addresses in its database or logs. It keeps answers in a cache for 60 seconds and the query vector for up to an hour, without linking them to a person. Traffic goes through the Cloudflare network, which, as the privacy policy itself points out, sees the IP address and the query in the search address. Result links contain a signed token that lets Aidealio count total impressions and clicks for site owners, without queries or IP addresses. There are no ads in the results, and the makers say that shopping offers, if they ever appear, will always be labelled and kept separate from the results.

MevaSearch keeps account data and service files on servers in the European Union, physically in Lithuania, with backups in France. We send queries to outside providers such as Brave or Mojeek from our servers, without your IP address or account details. We collect visit statistics with our own PriviMetrics tool, without tracking cookies. There are no ads in MevaSearch and there never will be, because we are funded by subscriptions.

Prices and business model

Searching on Aidealio is free. The service earns money from paid packages for domains: for 3.99 złoty net a month you can raise the number of pages the crawler fetches from a domain by 500, and for 49 złoty net once you can speed up the handling of up to 50 of its waiting addresses. The terms stress that a package does not guarantee indexing, traffic or rankings, and that a place in the ranking cannot be bought.

MevaSearch Lite costs 4.99 dollars a month and includes 500 searches and 200 AI answers. Plus costs 14.99 dollars for 1,500 searches, 1,000 AI answers and two extra profiles. Pro costs 24.99 dollars and gives you unlimited searches, 3,000 AI answers and four profiles. The Lite plan comes with a free trial of 3 days, and MevaSearch prices include VAT. Here the user pays, not the websites that appear in the results.

Where Aidealio is stronger

Aidealio is free, needs no account and has a large, steadily growing index of Polish pages that it builds itself, without outside result providers. Its crawler works transparently, and site owners get free webmaster tools with statistics. The AI overview is off by default, and the privacy policy describes in great detail what is stored and for how long. Aidealio also offers an API and an MCP server that lets AI assistants use the search engine.

What makes MevaSearch stand out

MevaSearch combines its own Polish index with broad sources from around the world and adds AI answers with sources, an AI chat, specialist results for developers and researchers, NetKrypton warnings about scam websites, the option to pin or hide domains, !bang shortcuts, dead link markers and removal of tracking parameters from links.
