1. Definitions and Payment Processor

To ensure a secure and reliable experience, MevaSearch utilizes an external Payment Processor. By using our Service, you acknowledge that financial transactions are handled by:

Current Payment Processor: Polar.sh (Polar Signals Inc.)

Our Payment Processor acts as an authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, handling all financial transactions according to strict industry standards, including PCI-DSS compliance. By completing a purchase, the User enters into a direct billing relationship with Polar.sh.

2. Subscriptions and Renewals

  • MevaSearch operates on a recurring subscription basis. Each successful payment automatically extends your access for the subsequent billing period.
  • By subscribing, you authorize our Payment Processor to charge your provided payment method at the start of each cycle.
  • Automatic Extension: The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled by the user.
  • If a payment fails (e.g., insufficient funds), access to Premium features will be suspended until a successful transaction is completed via the Payment Processor.
  • You can cancel the recurring billing at any time through your User Panel or the receipt/portal provided by our Payment Processor. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current paid period.

3. Kids Mode and Billing Access

Important: When Kids Mode is enabled on an account, access to all billing settings, payment management, and subscription controls is fully blocked. Kids Mode can only be enabled or disabled by the account holder (parent or legal guardian) using their account password.

All subscription purchases, cancellations, and billing changes must be performed by the adult account holder. Minors using the account under Kids Mode cannot initiate or modify any financial transactions.

4. Refund Policy (Digital Content)

Important: In accordance with EU consumer protection laws and Article 38(13) of the Polish Act on Consumer Rights, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once the service has been accessed and performance has begun.

Because MevaSearch provides immediate access to digital tools and search results:

  • We do not offer "change of mind" refunds once the account has been activated and used.
  • Partial refunds for unused days in a billing cycle are not provided. After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current paid period.

5. Technical Issues and Refunds

We want you to have the best experience. Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in the following cases:

  • Double Billing: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same account by our Payment Processor.
  • Service Interruption: If MevaSearch is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to internal server-side failures.
  • Technical Failure: If you are unable to access the service due to a verified technical error on our side that we cannot resolve within 7 days of reporting.

All refund requests must be sent to mevasearch[at]weborbiton.com within 14 days of the incident.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating an unjustified chargeback through the Payment Processor (claiming the service was not authorized or not received despite successful usage) will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your account and restricted access to MevaSearch services.

7. Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated via e-mail at least 14 days in advance. Changes will only apply to the next billing cycle.
